Sablital

Sablital streams tokens on Bitcoin. It runs on alkanes, the smart contract layer that rides on Bitcoin transactions, and it covers two jobs:

• Token vests. Lock an amount of any alkane and release it to one or more holders on a schedule, with an optional cliff and an optional amount unlocked at the start.
• Payroll. Pay people a fixed amount of US dollars, settled in DIESEL, on a schedule you set. Every payday is priced at the DIESEL/USD rate of that day, so the person gets the dollar amount they were promised and a clear cost basis for each payment.

In both cases the right to collect is an NFT. Whoever holds it collects, and handing it to someone else hands over the stream.

How payroll works, in one paragraph

An employer funds a pool with DIESEL. For each person, the pool creates a stream: a contract that knows the dollar amount per payday, how often paydays come, and the total budget. On each payday the stream looks up the DIESEL price as of that day in a shared on-chain price history (the pricebook, fed by the TUNDRACLE oracle), works out how much DIESEL that many dollars buys, and draws it from the pool. The person collects whenever they like. Collecting late never changes the price: it was fixed on payday.
